Reminds me of being 15, kissing 3 different mouths during one weekend, moving 1000 miles, solving chemistry lessons in a language I didn't understand. Good times. I still like the video, Michel Gondry is fantabulous.

No real summer without some bruises. Or a tiny stay at the hospital. Two more weeks of no biking. I'm restless and try to learn how to do tricks with my crutches. I'm known as the clumsy one, but at least I'm no cry baby.

My cat has always liked sleeping in that tiny box in the bike closet, but sleeping for two days isn't normal, not even for her. I took her to the vet where she was diagnosed with kidney failure. I got her a year and a half ago, she was old and abused and hated everybody. She still hates everybody. Not me. Anymore. She stopped biting me last summer and we've become friends. I'd like to keep this friend for a while longer but I know she's old. Time will show.

None of us have the ability to go straight home on a Sunday morning. Beware of the clumsy group of people passing you at 5am. A thirty minute bikeride can turn into two hours of goofing around. We usually end up with some good stories.

Found a pigeon wing on my way home from a long bikeride. I really don't know why I brought it home, but it's in my freezer now. I couldn't leave it on the sidewalk. I think it's pretty.

Constructive summer

I don't know if we're gonna fix this bike ramp or just take the materials. We're building a treehouse nearby. Nothing sweeter than having a place to cool down after a couple of hours of downhill biking. Except maybe building a treehouse with your buddies. We feel like we're 13 again. We smile like we're 13 again. This summer will be a great mixture of serious work and childish play.
